Fig. 02 - who runs these machines

Industries we serve

The same machine does a different job in a teaching laboratory and in a job shop. Below is what each kind of buyer usually needs, and - where the customer has given us permission to say so - who is already running one.

01

Education, research and public institutions

State universities, colleges, science high schools and government fabrication laboratories - including agencies purchasing through PhilGEPS. Machines delivered, commissioned and proved on their own floor, with the operators trained on site.

  • Teaching laboratories where students cut, engrave and print their own designs.
  • Prototyping and reverse engineering with 3D scanning into 3D printing.
  • Machines that have to survive a class timetable, which is why the training and the scheduled visits matter more here than the price.

02

Metal fabrication and job shops

Sheet metal cut, bent and welded in one shop. This is what our own fiber laser line, the pressbrake and the handheld welder were bought for.

  • Carbon steel, stainless, aluminium and brass on the fiber laser - our own reel names 25 mm carbon steel and 16 mm brass on screen as it cuts them.
  • Bending on a 130 tonne, 2500 mm pressbrake.
  • Handheld laser welding on carbon steel, stainless and aluminium, with cleaning and cutting on the same unit.

Awards, signage and engraving shops

Plaques, trophies, nameplates and signage. Every named shop below runs an Epilog, and we are the authorized Epilog Laser distributor for the Philippines.

  • Acrylic, wood and MDF cut and engraved on Epilog systems.
  • Small shops running one machine hard, where a week of downtime is a week of missed orders - parts are held in Makati for exactly this.

Retail, souvenir and personalisation

Engraving as the product itself: a customer picks an item, watches it marked, and walks out with it.

  • Wooden souvenirs, phone cases and giveaways marked while the customer waits.
  • Short runs and one-offs, where setup time decides whether the job is worth taking.

Print finishing, packaging and display

Flatbed and roll cutting for printed work - the finishing step after the printer, done on the print itself rather than by hand with a blade.

  • Printed graphics cut on a flatbed table - the first half-minute of our own reel is exactly this job.
  • Signage, displays, samples and packaging on the Summa F Series flatbed, whose head takes knives and routers.
  • Contour cutting held over long printed runs on the Summa S Class 2 roll cutter, plus Valiani flatbed cutting plotters.
