Who is responsible

What we collect

We only collect what you type into the quotation form. Nothing on this site tracks you, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The form asks for:

  • What you would like us to send - the full catalogue, the spec sheet for one machine, a quote for a job you want us to run, or nothing at all if you only have a question
  • Which machine, or which service, you are asking about
  • What you are making
  • The material, size and thickness you work with - each of these is optional
  • For a job: how many you need, when you need them, and whether you already have a drawing or a cutting file - all optional
  • Anything else you choose to type into the message box - optional
  • Your name and company
  • Your email address or mobile number

We do not ask for sensitive personal information as the Data Privacy Act defines it, and you should not send any through this form.

Separately from the form itself, our server counts how many enquiries have arrived from the same internet connection in the last hour, so that nobody can use the form to flood us with junk. It stores a scrambled one-way code instead of your IP address, the code changes every day, and it is deleted after two hours. It is never attached to your enquiry and never used to identify you.

03

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry. That means preparing a quotation, sending the catalogue or spec sheet you asked for, and contacting you about it. We also keep it as a record of the enquiry so we can pick the conversation up later without asking you the same questions again.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

04

How we use it

When you submit the form, your answers are passed to our systems, a member of our sales team reads them, and a person replies to you. Nothing about your enquiry is decided automatically. There is no automated profiling and no automated decision-making.

05

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is handled by us. Getting it to us involves one other company: Bluehost, who host this website and run the mail server that carries your enquiry to our sales inbox. They process it only on our instructions, and only for that purpose.

We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own use. We may disclose it where a law, a court, or a government authority requires it.

06

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for 3 years from your last contact with us, then delete them. Machine purchases are long decisions and buyers often come back after a year or more, which is why the period is not shorter. If you would rather we deleted yours sooner, ask us and we will.

07

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to:

  • Be told whether we hold personal information about you, and be given a copy of it
  • Be told where we got it, who we have given it to, and how it is being processed
  • Object to how we are processing it
  • Have anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected
  • Have it blocked, removed or destroyed if it is outdated, false, or was obtained unlawfully
  • Ask for your data in a portable electronic format
  • Be indemnified for damage caused by inaccurate, false or unlawfully obtained information

To use any of these, email privacy (at) atarashiitechnologies (dot) co. We will not charge you for it.

Our Data Protection Officer is Normina Balading, who is responsible for how we handle your information and is the person that address reaches.

If you think we have mishandled your information, you can complain to us first, and you can also complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This notice was last updated 18 August 2026.
