Laser engraving & digital cutting

Epilog Fusion Edge 12 / 24 / 36 · Fusion Pro · G2 Galvo · Summa flatbed and roll · Valiani

Two different ways of cutting flat material: lasers from Epilog, and knife cutters from Summa and Valiani. The laser burns, the knife does not - which is what decides most of these choices before any specification does.

Choosing between them

  1. 01

The Epilog CO2 machines run from the Fusion Edge 12 through the Edge 24 and 36, with the Fusion Pro in its 24, 36 and 48 sizes. The G2 Galvo is the different one: a fiber marking system rather than a CO2 cutter.

  2. 02

The knife side splits by how the material is held. The Summa F Series is a flatbed. The Summa S Class 2 is a roll cutter, cutting 74.2, 120, 135 and 158 cm on the D75, D120, D140 and D160 - a different machine for a different job, despite sharing this page.

  3. 03

Valiani are flatbed cutting plotters in four series - Omnia, Invicta, Integra and Optima - and they are the ones to look at for thickness rather than speed: the Integra takes 0.1 to 20 mm with its oscillating head.

Every figure above is taken from the manufacturer specifications published on the machine pages, each of which names its own source.

Philippine Science High School - Bicol Region Campus

As one of the end-users of the equipment sold by Atarashii Technologies, I can gladly say that I am a very satisfied customer. Other than providing high quality equipment, they go the extra mile and continue to assist their customers with their reliable and helpful after sales support services. They did not hesitate to help last year when our school's 3D printers had some issues. We were producing face shields that we donated to healthcare workers and frontliners all over the region, and because we were using the printers for extended hours every day for over a month, it was inevitable that we experienced some troubleshooting and maintenance issues. Fortunately, Atarashii, especially Armae, was very helpful in helping us resolve these problems. All in all, Atarashii has high quality products and amazing customer service! Keep up the good work and more power to you, Atarashii!

Epilog Laser is one of our favorite machines in LIKHA FabLab because it is easy to use and can do a lot of things. Another good thing is that Atarashii Tech provides us good after-sales support when it comes to spare parts, repair, and maintaining the machine.
